History

Law Firm Glikman & Partners is one of the oldest law firms in Estonia - established in 2004 by merging two of the oldest law firms in Estonia at that time -  Teder & Partnerid (founded in 1992) and Glikman & Glikman (founded in 1991).

Our law firm has extensive experience in litigation, corporate and transaction advisory extending over several generations. We have achieved significant rulings from Supreme Court as well as from lower level courts, many of which have the meaning of precedent. Our attorneys have advised both local and cross-border substantial transactions. The attorneys of law firm Glikman & Partners have achieved the declaration of several laws as unconstitutional. Our attorneys have also represented clients in international disputes.

Our team of attorneys has grown and developed with the help of several experts well known in Estonian legal field. One of our partners, attorney-at-law Aleksander Glikman has practised as a trial attorney for over 50 years and has throughout his practise been one of Estonia’s most recognized and successful trial attorney and has earned the admiration of not only clients, but also of judges and academics. Our team of attorneys has been enriched with Mr. Simon S. Levin, current Chancellor of Justice, Mr. Indrek Teder and current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Mr. Märt Rask.
